Ing. Alice Škývarová

Alice knows business negotiations from both sides of the table. She began her career as a purchasing manager at Hilton, running tenders for strategic suppliers. She then managed procurement for GE Money Bank in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, receiving the Sourcing Presidential Award for outsourcing the fourth-largest ATM network.

On the sales side, she built new sales channels at GE Money Bank and won first place for the bank at the POPAI Awards for a new ATM design. At Hewlett-Packard, she managed seven major corporate accounts in IT solutions sales. At ČSOB, she led a card department of more than 60 people, and at Wüstenrot she set the product, marketing and sales strategy.

She brought all these skills together in her own business. She built ProfiPéče Group s.r.o., a provider of comprehensive commercial property services, from scratch to an annual turnover of CZK 25 million and secured ISO 9001 and 14001 certification. She steered it through Covid, inflation and staff shortages, and successfully sold the business after almost ten years. She continues to advise independently on facilities management and cleaning services under the ProfiPéče Group brand.

She most enjoys making things better and seeing the results of her work. She likes negotiating and building relationships that last. Helping others grow gives her the greatest satisfaction. Outside work, she enjoys family time, gardening, design, travel and sport. And because business interests her beyond working hours, it is also one of her hobbies.

She graduated from the Prague University of Economics and Business. She is a native speaker of Czech and Slovak, speaks fluent English and German, and has a basic knowledge of Italian.
